Jailbreak iPhone, iPad, iPod IOS 5.0.1

@pod2g has created a terrific gift for iOS fans — an untethered 5.0.1 jailbreak for non-A5 devices!

Many of you have already been following @pod2g’s blog where he’s been keeping everyone up to date on his progress. And so you know that he recently decided to push the button on a release for all devices except the new iPhone4S and iPad2. @pod2g’s untether involves two separate exploits and a few other “tricks” — and since he’s taken the @comex approach of doing nearly everything himself, you know his plate has been full these past few months!

A few days ago, @pod2g gave the untether to both the iPhone devteam and the chronic devteam. We’ve put it into redsn0w 0.9.10 and PwnageTool, and the chronic devteam put it into a Cydia package (the same set of exploits is in all three).

Here are the basic steps for how to get it:

The untether is for iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone3GS, iPhone4, iPhone4-CDMA, iPad1, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G
If you have one of those devices and are not on 5.0.1 yet, update now! The SHSH window is still open for 5.0.1 If you unlock via ultrasn0w or gevey, make sure you only get to 5.0.1 via a custom IPSW! See the guides at places like iClarified.com if you don’t know how. Once you’re at 5.0.1, use the latest redsn0w 0.9.10 to both jailbreak and untether.
If you’re already at 5.0.1 with a tethered jailbreak, you have two choices: either run redsn0w 0.9.10 over your current jailbreak (deselect “Install Cydia” if you do that), or install the Cydia package prepared by the chronic devteam. The patches are the same regardless of which you choose.
Some of you are using a hybrid 5.0/5.0.1 configuration. If so, do not attempt to install this untether over that setup! You will most likely get into a reboot cycle. Do a sync and fresh restore to 5.0.1 then install the jailbreak + untether.

As mentioned earlier, @pod2g has spent months working on all the exploits and tricks in this untether, and many of you may be wondering how you can send donations. Although the iPhone devteam itself doesn’t take donations, we thought it was appropriate to provide a link at the end of the redsn0w run for you to more easily donate directly to @pod2g if you wish (alternatively, you can go right here). There’s a link in the Cydia package for donating to the chronic devteam for the Cydia version of @pod2g’s untether.
@pod2g is now looking for a way to extend this to A5 devices. Because those devices cannot use geohot’s limera1n exploit to inject the untether, they require exploits above and beyond those used for this release. Keep following pod2g on twitter or his blog for any progress reports!

How to Erase and Install Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard

Use these steps to restore to the factory settings and the software that originally came with your computer by using the installation DVDs that shipped with it. Important: For MacBook Air, a MacBook Air SuperDrive, or MacBook Air Software Reinstall Drive is required to complete this procedure.

This procedure has four parts:

Important: This procedure will completely erase your hard drive. If you have installed Microsoft Windows using Boot Camp, or have multiple partitions, this procedure will erase the partition you select.

Part One: Erasing the hard drive

Turn on the computer.
Insert the Mac OS X Install DVD into the optical drive, or insert the MacBook Air Software Reinstall Drive into the USB port.
Press and hold the "C" key while the computer starts up. The computer will start up using the Install media. Alternatively, press and hold the Option key at startup to select the volume containing the installer.
If your are using a wireless mouse, a mouse icon should appear asking you to turn the mouse on so that the computer can discover it.
Select a language, then press the right arrow key.
Click the Utilities menu, the choose Disk Utility.
Select a volume to erase (usually called Macintosh HD).
Click the Erase tab.
Click Erase... Important: This step will completely erase your hard drive. If you have installed Microsoft Windows using Boot Camp, or have multiple partitions, this procedure will erase the partition you select.
A dialog box appears asking if you want to erase the partition: click Erase.
After the partition is erased, choose Quit Disk Utility from the Disk Utility menu.

Part Two: Installing the operating system

When the Mac OS X Snow Leopard Installer screen appears, click Continue.
When the license agreement appears, click Agree.
Select the disk you erased. It should now be highlighted with a green arrow.
Click Install. A status bar appears on the bottom of the screen while Mac OS X installs.
An Additional Information screen appears, advising you that you operating system has been installed. Click Continue.
An Install Succeeded screen appears. Click Restart.

Part Three: Completing the Mac OS X Setup Assistant

When the restart has completed, a welcome video plays, then country/region selection screen appears.
Select your country or region and click Continue.
Select a keyboard layout and click Continue.
A migration screen appears. If you wish to migrate your data from another Macintosh, see Migration tips and tricks. If you do not wish to migrate, or want to migrate later, select "Do not transfer my information now" and click Continue.
A Wireless Service screen appears if you have wireless services available within range of your computer. Select "On" and click Continue.
If the network is password protected, you be asked for a password when you select it. Type the password and click Continue.
An Apple ID screen appears. This is used to purchase content from the iTunes store. You can use MobileMe or .Mac usernames here as well. When complete, click Continue.
If you do not have an Apple ID or MobileMe account, click Continue to move to the next screen.
A Registration Information screen appears. You are not required to fill this out, but it is helpful if you do. When complete, click Continue and your product registration will be sent immediately.
If Mac OS X servers are available on your network, you'll be asked if you'd like to log on to them. If not, click Continue.
A Create Your Account screen appears. This will be used to create a User Account with Login ID and Password for you computer. You should remember this password. You'll be asked for it when you install new software or perform other administrative tasks on your computer. When complete, click Continue and your account will be created immediately.
A screen to select your user picture appears. Take a snapshot with the built-in camera or select a picture from your Library. When complete, click Continue.
A MobileMe screen appears. Select an option and click Continue.
A Thank You screen appears. Click Go to complete the Mac OS X Setup Assistant.
Eject the Mac OS X Install DVD by dragging its icon to the Trash.

Part Four: Installing the bundled applications

To install the bundled applications, locate the Applications Install Disc or MacBook Air Software Reinstall Drive that came with your computer.
Note: You may see a Software Update icon bouncing up and down in your dock. You can quit this for now.
Insert the Applications Install Disc into the optical drive, or insert the MacBook Air Software Reinstall Drive into the USB port.
The disc will mount and an Applications Install Disk dialog appears. Double-click on Install Bundled Software to install your iLife applications. If you are using the MacBook Air Software Reinstall Drive, double-click the Install iLife icon.
A dialog appears asking if you want to run the package. Click Continue.
The Bundled Software Applications Installer screen appears. Click Continue.
A software license screen appears. Click Continue, then click Agree to accept the terms.
A select destination dialog appears. Make sure the partition with the green arrow is the correct destination, then click Continue.
To install all the bundled applications, click Install.
To select individual applications, click Customize. Click the disclosure triangle next to Bundled Applications to select individual applications, then click Install. Clicking Standard Install on the Customize screen installs all the applications.
Type the password you created in Part Three, step 11 to start the installation.
A restart dialog appears. Click Continue Installation.
An Install was Successful screen appears. Click Restart.

The restore process is now complete.

The current version of the Cisco VPN client doesn't appear to run properly in Mac OS is running in the 64-bit kernel.

Mac OS 10.7 or Lion runs the 64-bit kernel by default. Users will see the error message like "Error 51: Unable to communicate with the VPN subsystem" when starting the VPN.

Until Cisco releases a compatible client, there are a few workaround available: Set Mac OS X to boot using the 32-bit kernel. (Refer to the instructions in Apple's support below)

You can use either of these methods:

Method 1: Startup key combination (for current startup only)

If your Mac uses the 32-bit kernel by default, but supports the 64-bit kernel, you can start up using the 64-bit kernel by holding the 6 and 4 keys during startup.
If your Mac uses the 64-bit kernel by default, you can start up with the 32-bit kernel by holding the 3 and 2 keys during startup.

Your Mac will revert to the default kernel the next time you reboot it.

Method 2: On-disk setting (persistent)

To select the 64-bit kernel for the current startup disk, use the following command in Terminal:

sudo systemsetup -setkernelbootarchitecture x86_64

To select the 32-bit kernel for the current startup disk, use the following command in Terminal:

sudo systemsetup -setkernelbootarchitecture i386

Note: This setting is stored in the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist file and will take effect every time you start up from this disk. If you start up from a different disk, the setting on that disk, or the hardware default, will take effect.

These are instructions on how to use your iPhone as a USB stick / USB flash drive without needing to install software on your computer.

Steps:
Press to launch Cydia from your iPhone Springboard.
Press the large Sources button.
Press the Edit button at the top right of the sources list.
Press the Add button that appears at the top left.
Enter http://apt.dmytro.me as the Cydia/APT URL then press the Add Source button.
Press to select the apt.dmytro.me source we just added
Tap to select the USB Drive package from the list of packages
Press the Install button at the top right of the screen.

First we must create a Virtual Disk on the iPhone. Press the Create Disk... button to continue.
Enter a name for your virtual disk and use the slider to specify how much space you would like to allocate it. When done click the Create button at the top right of the screen.

Now that we have created a disk to access we must specify the USB Mode. You have three choices:

Drive + iTunes:
In this mode USB Drive replaces Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) interface with Mass Storage interface and lets you use the iPhone as a USB Drive. At the same time you can perform iTunes synchronization, developers can use XCode debugger ,etc. In this mode USB Mass Storage will not work on Windows with iTunes or Apple USB Drivers installed.

Default:
This is the iPhone default mode. USB Drive doesn't install daemon application nor modify any USB settings. Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) is active as well as iTunes synchronization and tethering over USB.

Drive Only:
This mode is to resolve compatibility issues with Windows and iTunes. In this mode USB Drive changes the iPhone's USB product ID. This will prevent iTunes synchronization, but USB Mass Storage will work on Windows (and other operating systems). Switch to the Default or Drive + iTunes mode will restore iTunes sync.

Press to select the mode of your choice. We chose Drive + iTunes because we rarely need Windows compatibility.

Click on the View Footnote Area radio button and then click on OK.
Using the Notes drop-down list at the top of the Footnotes window, choose Footnote Separator.
Word displays the current separator in the window.
Change or delete the separator, as desired.

for the final step, right click on your newly created urls.xml >> then select PROPERTIES. on the properties box, put a check on the Read-only attribute. something like this:
now we’re all set. you can close everything now & launch your yahoo messenger. your ym is now ad-free.
AGAIN, do NOT do this if you plan on using the YAHOO! CHAT feature. chat WILL NOT WORK if you disable the ads.

To manually add the EndNote addin files to Word's startup folder, follow these instructions:
Within Microsoft Word 2007 go to the Office icon in the upper left, and click "Word Options" at the bottom of this window.
Click on "Trust Center" on the left hand side, then on the "Trust Center Settings..." button at the bottom-right.
Click the Trusted Locations menu to the left, then highlight the "Word 2007 default location: StartUp" item in the list.
Note the path to the Microsoft Word Startup folder. The path should show up below the Trusted Locations items. Step 1: In Vista, before doing this you should enable Sharing and Discovery. You can do that by going to Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center. Under the section ‘Sharing and Discovery, enable Network discovery, File Sharing, Public folder sharing and others if you want to.

Step 2: If your LAN card that is connecting to another computer is installed, it will be shown under Control Panel -> Network Connections.
Step 3: Right click that local area connection and click properties.
Step 4: Under the tab ‘Networking’, click the properties Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
Step 5: Click the radio button to ‘Use the following IP’ and give an IP address (For example, IP address: 192.168.0.1 and Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0)
Step 6: Don’t give any other information, Click Ok and close everything.
Step 7: In computer B, make sure you enable the LAN card which is used to connect to computer ‘A’. Here you need not give any IP information as Computer ‘A’ will assign an IP address dynamically. If it’s not working make sure there are no IP assigned and change the properties to ‘Obtain an IP address automatically’.

Right click LAN card which is connected to Internet under Control Panel -> Network Connections and click ‘Sharing’ tab and enable both the options to share Internet. (Note: Unless there is another enabled LAN setting you will not be able to see the shared tab under properties)
Click Ok and close. This option is given by the Windows OS known as ICS (Internet Connection Sharing).

Cambodia Inks Stock Market Deal for 2009

The government signed a stock market contract with Korea Exchange Monday, paving the way for an exchange starting mid- or late 2009, officials said this week. Korea Exchange is the fourth largest stock market in Asia.

The government plans to allow at least 10 companies—five state run and five foreign—to be listed on the initial exchange, officials said. The news was met with mixed feelings. Some analysts warn that the rampant corruption and weak rule of law that continually plague Cambodia will sink stock exchange efforts. But some officials were optimistic the stock market could provide more sophisticated options to investors.
“The Cambodian stock market provides an additional opportunity for a company to collect capital for investment,” said Hang Chuon Narong, general director of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. “Either [the company] deposits money to get interest, or it invests in the stock market.” The impending stock market, which stems from the signing of a securities law last year, will help strengthen Cambodia’s financial system and will ensure money circulates “smoothly,” said Kang Chan Dararoath, an independent economic analyst.

Opposition leader Sam Rainsy, who was once Finance Minister, encouraged Cambodians to buy shares in stocks to increase their income, but warned extreme caution. “Our current authorities are corrupt and conspiratorial, and if the stock market is created under these circumstances, I worry that some people can be cheated,” he said. “They could lose a lot of money and become much poorer.”

Goal is set by people and they have it for their own. We have strategic plan to reach that goal; no goal reaching is made successfully without a real plan. It's not like setting goal for a business company but somewhat similar to that. Why we however need goal? Easy answer is we want something better or even best for the upcoming future. Basic neeeds were modified by Abraham Maslow in the theory of human motivation or marketing. That context reveals daily needs of people consist of housing, clothing, eating, travelling, communicating, schooling and so on. However it's not satisfied enough for human beings; people are ambitious to explore more things than those. Some peole are unwillingly commit wrong way such as murduring or robbering or other bad cases to fulfil their needs [it's just the case you've seen everyday.]

Goal requires not only planing, but organizing, leading, monitoring and controling. It's like strategic management theories mentioned by several scholars. Planning is the first stage to set the future plan, what you're going to do in next 5 or 10 years. Organizing is the next stage after you set plan and you have to organize it, make sure plan is conducted successfully. Leading here refers to lead your goal setting other than lead people. And finally, monitoring and controling, is somewhat the final stage of monitoring your action plan or goal whether or not it'll be accessed.

My personal idea is here is that readers might have argued or opposit idea on that case, however if you think it broughtly you'll understand my context. By not just criticizing blindly but thinking deeply to each concept, you'll know how it works and also how your goal is reached. Most cases, it's not easy to reach one goal, or if so, people around the world hold their own goals and no one is poor, world might be in peace then people will do nothing. It requires willing to do, devoteness, or sacrifice, which mean 'marry to your goal' (Phalla, M. 2005).

The conclusion for this post is that not only human basic needs is clarified to reach a goal, but we should know what is planning about. Planning, organizing, leading, and controling are in batch to successfully goal.

What is Currency Exchange?
Currency exchange is the trading of one currency against another. Professionals refer to this as foreign exchange, but may also use the acronyms Forex or FX.

The Need for Currency Exchange
Currency exchange is necessary in numerous circumstances.
Consumers typically come into contact with currency exchange when they travel. They go to a bank or currency exchange bureau to convert one currency (typically, their "home currency") into another (i.e., the currency of the country they intend to travel to) so they can pay for goods and services in the foreign country. Consumers may also purchase goods in a foreign country or via the Internet with their credit card, in which case they will find that the amount they paid in the foreign currency will have been converted to their home currency on their credit card statement. Although each such currency exchange is a relatively small transaction, the aggregate of all such transactions is significant.
Businesses typically have to convert currencies when they conduct business outside their home country. For example, if they export goods to another country and receive payment in the currency of that foreign country, then the payment must often be converted back to the home currency. Similarly, if they have to import goods or services, then businesses will often have to pay in a foreign currency, requiring them to first convert their home currency into the foreign currency. Large companies convert huge amounts of currency each year; for example, a company such as General Electric (GE) converts tens of billions of dollars each year. The timing of when they convert can have a large affect on their balance sheet and "bottom line.
Investors and speculators require currency exchange whenever they trade in any foreign investment, be that equities, bonds, bank deposits, or real estate. For example, when a Swedish investor buys shares in Sun Microsystems on the NASDAQ, she will have to pay for the shares in U.S. Dollars and likely have to convert Swedish Krona to U.S. Dollars. Similarly, a Japanese real estate investor who sells a New York property may well want to convert the proceeds of the sale in U.S. Dollars to Japanese Yen.

You can use Khmer Operating System by OpenSource. openSUSE 10.3 now fully supports Khmer. Here is Khmer OS installation manual.

However, if your installation is done but still you cannot read Khmer fonts in openSUSE 10.3, follow my step:

1-You should have openSUSE 10.3 Add On Media (Language Add On CD *i386); download it and burn to CD (burn image)

2-Insert that CD then install Language Add On

3-Go to YaST via K Menu > Application > System > Configuration (you will be asked for root password)

4-In YaST, go to System > Language

5-Then under Primary Language choose "Khmer"

6-You will also need to change KDE language to Khmer as following steps:

Go to KDE Control Center via K Menu > Favorites

Go to Regional & Accessibility then Country/Region & Language

Click on Add Language button then select "Khmer"

7-Logoff or restart your computer.
